This is only 20 minutes from our home and it has taken us 2 years to get here! I wish we had come sooner. We biked the tow path to Stockton and crossed the bridge to Dilly's Corner. What an amazing weekend skipping rocks on the Delaware and hiking & biking the beautiful area. We cannot wait to come back. We choose site 15 as other reviewers said it was spacious. We agree. It was near the bath/shower house and was close to the path to the river. We will come again. Most everyone was friendly, no rif-raf. Great family camping! Finally a place in Jersey we would venture back too.

Wow. We have added this location to our see again list. We LOVED this aprk. We had ponies in our site two of our three nights. It was amazing to hear waves as you slept at night- to walk to a "private" never- crowded beach, all for $30 a night is awesome. The views and biking were great. Terrific ladies in nature center. Great activities for the kids. Bathrooms were not great but they were heavily used. Mosquitoes were as expected. Bring sunscreen & bug spray. No shade. Bring your own. Camp store had little to nothing and expensive. Beautiful. So glad we got here. Book early so you will not need to move sites to complete your stay.

We just returned from our first trip to Blue Rocks. This is a nice family campground with a nice pool, good playground and the stream was fun. The Blue Rock glacial boulder field was really cool to see. A new snack bar has been added this year. Great prices. Most of the park seems to be seasonal: not too many camper sites for weekenders. There were a lot of tent campers. Great people here. There was a small store and game room. We were in site 146 (W&E) on the stream, nearby all activities. Our site was level and shaded but our camper was right along the main road. We did open up to the stream which was beautiful. Bath houses are few and far between. The bathhouse near the store saw a lot of traffic and was muddy due to the light rain we had day before. Great hiking and nearby attractions: Crystal Cave, Mid Atlantic Air Museum. We would stay here again.

We camped in Chester Loop Site # 247. LOVED our site. Had a cool trail to the Elk River at Stony Point. Great kids nature activities. We have few places on our see again list and this is one of them. Very shaded sites, playgrounds at every loop. nature center. camp store, laundry. Beautiful lighthouse. Nice people. Bathrooms were heavily used so not extra clean. No soap in ladies room. Great HOT showers, need to adjust pressure at times. For $30 a night, I can't complain. The views and setting cancel out the negatives here. We had yellow jackets at our site, not camp fault. Bring bug spray. Awesome!!!

Whoa. Where to start? I will try to be factual in this review. Pros: Shaded, huge sites, tons of free kids activities (even midweek), nice staff. Cons: showers are cold, dirty, and push button (10 second water flow so a 1 handed shower). I can tolerate a lot of dirt but I can't stand when things are broken or missing (handles for showers, non-flushing toilets, lights out for 3+ days) especially for $49 a night. I should be able to take a hot shower! We finally left one night early due to rude, vulgar neighbors. Management was apologetic and gave one nights credit. It can be a lot of fun with friends but is a rowdy kind of camping we are not used to. This was wet & wild weekend- water gun fun but that was ruined for us. We wouldn't have returned even if we didn't have the neighbors. It is not our type of campground.

We have just returned from our second stay at Lake Glory. We were put in a tent site (30' hybrid? Hmm). We were able to get in due to my husband's creative thinking and amazing driving skills. We wanted to stay, since it was next to the family we were camping with. Office wasn't sure how it happened? Lake glory is a basic campground, no frills but close to Knoebels. We love to be near the stream so the kids have something to do. The playground is "primitive" (home made). Stream is more fun. If it had a new playground, it would be great. We were on Creekside Drive sites 42 & 44. Next year, might try Lakeview Circle. Not a lot of shade on Covered bridge but that area is flat grass on the stream. We love Knoebels and will be back again.

We just returned from our first visit to Twin Grove. We were on the stream in site Q46. We LOVED our site. Level, near bathrooms (never used them) and large. Some sites were close. Most are wide open with no shade. There is a little overflow "ATV" lot next to us. We had a little shade from the trees lining the stream. Most sites are in the open sun. Our children loved playing in the stream. There are little play areas dotting the campground with a large playground near the pool and central office building. The food at the restaurant for the Father's Day Brunch was excellent! The camp store was well stocked to get you out of just about any RV jam. The pool looked great (It rained the weekend we were there so we didn't use it). The rides were fantastic for small children. We enjoyed the crafts and indoor games/movies during the rainy weekend. Everyone was quiet - even the tons of dogs here- and they drove slowly. Staff was kind, polite, and friendly. They even ran rides just for our 3 kids! We would definitely come back if we could get this site again.

This is a tent campers dream tucked away. Our trailer is too big (30'+) to navigate. Not sure how some of the 5th wheels we saw did it. Sites were very shaded. Not too many large, level sites though. Quite a few seasonals. Nothing too offensive. Not much to do here. It is really to get away from everything. There were 3 swings and a volleyball net. Basically, bring your own everything. They have a swimming hole (pond) and a fishing pond. Both were quite a hike from the "grounds". Too bad we couldn't fit the camper, its only 20 minutes from home! Has potential to be a real gem.

We just returned from a weekend stay at Camp Taylor. What a beautiful campground! If you like rural and heavily shaded, this is for you. The sites on our "cul-de-sac" were spacious, shaded, and mostly level. (We were in site 66, our neighbors were in 67-both excellent) Each site had a true rock fire pit. Best of all, we were right on a stream. Our children (2-4-7) enjoyed dam building with neighboring kids and it was peaceful to sleep with the babble of the brook for background. I LOVED the howling of the wolves from the wolf reserve. It is located just beyond the campground. It was an incredible educational tour/hike there. We will return here.

We were excited to camp here because it had the stables on the property and it is the closest to the battlefields. My children aged 6, 4 & 2 LOVED the playground and riding bikes. There was a nightly movie but we did not attend. It was a bit cooler (thankfully) the 3 days we camped here so we did not use the pool. It looked well cared for and newer than many other amenities. The bath houses could be updated but must be kept cleaner. Wi-Fi was great but our site(78) was close to the camp store. It was a very quiet campground. Very basic. The only real downer for us was when we made our reservation, we wanted two sites (we camped with another family) next to each other. We were told the sites we were assigned would allow us to open up to each other. Due to the location of hookups (2 sites shared a common pole/hookup area) we could only do that if we were OK with our kids tripping over wires and hoses (we were not). The ladies in the store were terrific in letting us move anywhere else in the camp. We opted not to, since we were across the road from the bath house & playground. We will stay again- this Fall.

Great family park near Hershey attractions. A free shuttle runs every 20 minutes or so. Great kids activities (flashlight candy hunt, cool!), clean lifeguard supervised pools (kiddie pool too), great hot showers. I even did my laundry while here and it was conveniently located. The camp store has something for everyone. The only downers here for us were how close sites were (we were nervous about making a campfire) in the woodland area, and that 2 sites were having obvious black water issues (stunk!) and no one addressed it! There is also a freight train that runs alongside the campground 24 hours a day... Very new playgrounds. I would stay again if in the shady rest area. It has larger grass sites and a creek for kids to catch crayfish etc...

This was our first trip to Lake Glory. We headed out here for Knoebel's Amusement Park. That was really all there is to do in this beautiful rural area of Central PA. Our site was situated on the main road across from one of the bath houses. It was a very busy stretch to have 3 young children! The roads were gravel and it was dusty. They offer a shuttle to the amusement park, but we did not use it. The campground is well maintained and clean. The bath houses have a few private showers and a large shower room with many stalls. The larger room was newer but all were cleaned daily. They are free hot showers. Sites are not too crowded. The playground was not too exciting but kept our kids entertained for short periods of time. There are shaded sites but beware that there is a large field of sites that is in full sun. We traveled with a family that was in a primitive site along a stream that was awesome (Creek Drive). That was the place our kids wanted to be. They could fish, catch crawfish and cool off as they waded in to skip rocks. Knoebels is a five minute drive down the road and that is a great family destination. We would return to this campground for the amusement park.
